As the saying goes: People take food as their heaven, and in life people eat three meals a day, and one meal is very uncomfortable. Speaking of eating, you need to cook, and you need to process the ingredients. This is inseparable from the most commonly used cutting board in the kitchen. The cutting board will have close contact with the ingredients that enter our mouth, so we must pay special attention to the hygiene of the plastic chopping board.
Because the plastic chopping board is in a damp state for a long time, it is easy to mold and breed bacteria on the cutting board. If it is not cleaned properly, it may affect health. So what should everyone pay attention to when using the cutting board? How should the cutting board be cleaned?
1. Separate raw and cooked
Because there are more bacteria and parasite eggs on lettuce, the cutting board will inevitably be contaminated. If such a plastic chopping board is used to cut cooked food, it will contaminate the cooked food. It is best to prepare two cutting boards.
2. Keep it clean
After the traditional plastic chopping board is used, use a hard board brush and clean water to wash off the dirt along with the sawdust. If there is fish, meat and other fishy odors, you can use salt-dissolved rice washing water or detergent to scrub, and then rinse with warm water. Do not use boiling water to blanch it, because the protein in the meat remains on the cutting board and solidifies when heated.
