Jul 01, 2021

before use

1. After buying wooden cutting boards and bamboo cutting boards, they can be wiped with concentrated salt water. Water can moisten the wood, and salt can disinfect and sterilize;

2. Plastic and stainless steel cutting boards can be used after washing.

when using it

1. The cutting boards and knives for cutting raw and cooked food should be separated to avoid cross-contamination and breeding of bacteria;

2. If there is really only one cutting board, after cutting the raw food, please clean it with dish soap (which can wash fruits and vegetables) immediately, then blanch it with hot water, dry it and then cut the cooked food.

After use

1. Whether cutting meat or vegetables, after using the cutting board, scrape the residue on the surface with a knife, and then clean it with detergent;

2. The plastic cutting board can be washed with water dissolved in salt or baking soda, or washed with lemon and ginger to remove the peculiar smell. The fishy smell left after the meat is cut can be removed with green onion and ginger juice;

3. After cleaning, hang the cutting board to dry, or place it at an angle to dry, keep it ventilated and drain;

4. When there are more scratches on the surface of wood and bamboo cutting boards, they can be scrubbed with water scrubbing paper to remove the marks, and then coated with cooking oil; (olive oil is recommended. Heavy oils such as peanut oil can easily block the pores of the cutting board and cause deterioration)

5. In addition, bamboo and wood cutting boards are not recommended to be exposed to the sun or fire because they are easily deformed; it is also not recommended to put them in the dishwasher, because the high temperature of the dishwasher can easily cause the cutting board to deform.
